2017 Supreme x CDG Black Box Logo Tee

In 2017 Supreme collaborated with the Japanese COMMEdesGARÇONS.
This marked the 5th total collaboration between the New York streetwear brand and the Japanese high fashion ‘runway cool’ brand. This collection came in the form a hoodie, a tee and even a suit. Signature for this seasons collab is the crumbled box logo. This design refers to the 2010 COMMEdesGARÇONS Spring/Summer campaign where Conceptual Artist Stephan J Shanabrook presented “paper surgery”. Crumpled photos of fashion models in an effort to convey and challenge beauty ideals in the fashion industry.
