In 2015 Supreme and The North Face worked together for their annual Fall Winter collection.
The collection was inspired by American human rights activist Malcom X. Known as a courageous advocate for the rights of blacks in America during the civil rights movement in a time of oppression, discrimination and institutionalised racism.
Closer towards the release of the collection in 2015, recent tragedies between police officers and innocent victims such as Mike Brown, Eric Garner and Sandra Bland made these iconic words carry a lot of weight. Exclusively for Supreme only, The North Face produced a Nuptse and a pullover in red, black and yellow.
The world famous ‘By Any Means Necessary’ quote by Malcom X is featured on every piece in the signature Supreme font.
