2014 Supreme x The North Face Navy Bandana Mountain Light
In the Fall Winter of 2014 Supreme and The North worked together on a new collection exclusively made for Supreme. The classic Mountain Light serves as the basic TNF Model. Supreme used a bandana paisley design on the mountain light piece.
This caused a lot of controversy upon its release due to the Red and Navy bandana prints being resemblent of the famous Blood and Crip crime orientated gangs.
It is rumoured that the Red and Navy printed jackets took longer to sell out in the Los Angeles Supreme store in California where these gangs are notoriously active.
Today, these paisley printed mountain lights have become one of the most popular and sought after items ever made by Supreme and The North Face.
