In 2013, Supreme and The North Face worked together on an exclusive capsule collection for their Spring/Summer season. For this special creation, Supreme occupied the classic Mountain Light TNF model previously used in F/W ‘10 and F/W ‘12.
For this season, Supreme and The North Face used the famous 3M reflective material.
The 3M makes the jacket light up when exposed to light in dark areas. This 3M addition gave an interesting and never seen before touch to the traditional collaboration.
The collection included a black and red colourway. As expected, this piece sold out instantly and quickly found its way around the world with beloved collectors.
Almost a decade later, this 3M Mountain Light has become a rare piece to find.
