2011 Supreme x The North Face Checkered Yellow Cap

In the Spring Summer of 2011 Supreme continued their annual collaboration with The North Face. 
For this season a checkered pattern was used as the signature print on the collection ranging from pullovers, bags and - a never before seen horizon cap.
For the first time ever a TNF Matching set of hat and pullover
was released in the signature print of the Spring / Summer collaboration. 
The checkered set came in a variety of three matching colourways. 
Yellow and White, Black on Black and Red Maroon and Dark Navy.
The Red checkered gained a lot of popularity upon its release but really gained the full notoriety its known when popularised by Ian Connor. 
The fashion icon and self proclaimed “King of the Youth” wore this set on several different occasions and helped build up the popularity and magnitude of this piece out of the Spring Summer collection. 
9 years later, this piece exists as one of the true classic pieces out of all the capsule collections created between Supreme and The North Face. 
This checkered horizon cap is one of the most rare and special pieces ever made and is extremely hard to find.
