1995 Supreme Blue Marlboro Man Production Sample Tee

In 1994 Supreme opened its first Shop in Lafayette street, New York and became a staple in modern day culture catering to skate, hip hop, punk and youth culture.
Supreme NYC formed a strong contrast against the new 90’s New York conservatism. Changing a culture as we know it, Supreme kept emerging as a premier streetwear and lifestyle brand. With its anti-corporate rebellious “Fuck You, we do what we want” identity Supreme formed a bilingual dynamic with culture and fashion growing into a cult brand. One of the first Supreme designs ever put out was a "Marlboro Man" Graphic Tee derived from the well known Marlboro Man slightly modified with a small Supreme logo on the hat. When this came out Supreme was a small skate brand in downtown Manhatten at the forefront of what would be a cultural revolution amongst streetwear culture and modern day fashion as a whole. This tee was produced in very limited quantitites with the signature pre-1998 red supreme size tag. This piece however, is even more rare as it never came out. This is a ultra rare production sample that never was released to the public. The tag is a Hanes beefy tag instead of the signature red Supreme tag. Considering the released version was extremely low in quantities, this production sample is even more rare. It never came out in this colourway making this one of the most rare samples ever in Supreme and streetwear history. 27 years later its safe to assume this might be one of a few left in existence. After this release Supreme would turn into the brand we are all familiar with today.  In 2014 Supreme was officially valued at $1,000,000,000 (Billion) Dollars. 50 % was sold for $500,000,000 (Million). And most recently the brand was valued at $2.1 Billion.
