In the Spring Summer of 2014 World Famous icon Supreme worked together in an unconventional collaboration with high end Japanese french-sounding fashion house, Commes des Garçons.
This collaboration stood largely symbolic for the life of legendary skater Harold Hunter who passed away at age 31 on 17 Februari 2006.
A large print of the New York skater served as tribute on the rear end of the hoodie as on other pieces released in the collaboration.
For this occasion, CDG provided their signature high quality fabric which was used as the base material for this hoodie.
In a continuation of the collaborative traditon we once again saw a mirrored box logo.
However, the pinstripe design and the screenprint on the hoodie were used for the first time as compositorial elements.
The final hoodie resulted in this pinstripe model with the reversed screen printed box logo.
This creation was both representative of the rough New York skating culture as it was of the chique-esque high end Japanese fashion.
Out of all the Box Logo hoodies ever created this one is arguably one of the most unique ever due to its pinstripe design, reversed screenprinted box logo and the unique identity fueled by the high end fashion influence in a playfull combination with the signature New York skating culture.
