Chrome Hearts is a High End Luxury Brand specialised in silver accessories, leather, clothing and furniture. Founded in 1988 by Richard Stark and John Bowman the Hollywood based brand gained early exposure through legendary punk rock bands like The Sex Pistols and Guns N' Roses. Known for their expertise in silver and leather accessories Chrome Hearts was awarded with the 1992 CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Award. Stark almost didn't accept the award because he was not familiar with CFDA at the time. He and even went as far as saying "Chrome Hearts has nothing to do with the fashion world" Ironically enough Chrome Hearts is one of the most popular brands right now and has a strong connection with modern day music and fashion culture. The brand was further popularized by infleuntial Hip Hop figures such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and The Diplomats including Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. Drawing a line to the current day where Chrome Hearts is one of the most sought after and popular brands in the world.
