In 2016 Supreme worked together with Atlanta Rap Icon Radric Davis - better known as Gucci Mane. The artist is acknowledged as one of the most influential figures in Rap & Hip Hop history. Iconic projects such as “Trap House “, “Hard to Kill” and “Back to the Trap House” helped Gucci pioneer as one of the most famous Artists in the Trap music genre. His successful career was however paired with a difficult history with the law. On May 13 2014, Gucci Mane pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He agreed to a plea deal which would keep him incarcerated until late 2016. The term “Free Guwop” was a commonly used term to show support for the artist at this time. On September 20th 2016, Gucci Mane was released from jail. While still on house arrest - Supreme held a last minute shoot at Gucci Mane’s mansion for their Fall Winter 2016 photo shoot campaign. The photo tee sold out in seconds and quickly became one of the most popular Photo Tee’s released ever.
