In 2013, Supreme worked together with the Irish singer Shane MacGowan. In an unorthodox collaboration Supreme photographed MacGowan in a black on black box logo t-shirt. Shane is best known as the lead singer of the Pogues and for his collaborations with artists such as Nick Cave, Steve Earle and Ronnie Drew. “boys from the county hell” is written across the back of the shirt as a reference to the famous song by the Pogues. This collaboration speaks to Supremes ability to engage with different cultural influences while maintaining its own identity.
